May is a welcome friend and one of our favorite months of the year. A perfect prequel of yet to come, only 6 weeks away from the summer solstice and the official start of summer. For Philadelphia, spring is in swing.
Of course around our place, one would think that spring was already sprung. The garden is slowly coming to life, the herb garden is taking root... a proud new window box greet friends at the front door... flats of seedlings set the outdoor table... and the indoors grow jealous of the outdoors once again. At our house - thankfully - summer comes early.
But what a wonderful spring it was...
